Cookie policy

Last updated 13 August 2026

This policy explains when BrandKind stores cookies or similar information on your device.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, including local storage, can also remember information on your device.

How BrandKind uses cookies

BrandKind does not require cookies for the service to work. If analytics is enabled for the site, we ask for your permission before loading it or setting its cookies or similar browser storage. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.

  • _ga distinguishes one visitor from another so page visits can be counted. It expires after up to two years.
  • _ga_<container-id> keeps the state of an analytics session. It expires after up to two years.

These analytics cookies are optional. The analytics processor receives the page path, but BrandKind does not send URL query strings or fragments, use advertising features, or send user-data signals.

Depending on which optional analytics tools are enabled, your browser may also receive first-party identifiers that help keep an analytics session together and distinguish repeat visits.

Local storage

Keeping you signed in uses browser local storage rather than a cookie. BrandKind also stores your analytics choice there so it does not ask on every visit. Local-storage entries remain on your device until you sign out, clear the relevant site data, or your browser removes them.

Your choices

You can accept or reject optional analytics when BrandKind asks. If you change your mind, clear BrandKind's cookies and site data in your browser and reload the site to choose again. Rejecting analytics does not affect your access to BrandKind.
